She has over 18 years of expertise in the field of clinical microbiology following her completion of the MBBS and MD programmes at the Guwahati Medical College. Currently serving as both the Chairperson of the Infection Control Committee and the Lab Director for the Clinical Laboratory Department at Hayat Hospital. She is connected to the Critical Care Society as well.
